The 2012 Formula One season brings the launch a new joint TV deal between Sky Sports and the BBC, with Sky launching a new channel dedicated especially to F1.
Sky Sports F1 HD will be available free to all Sky Sports 1 and 2
subscribers and is available on their web streaming service SkyGo. Ten of the Grand Prix shown on Sky Sports F1 HD will also be shown Live on the BBC, along with qualifying sessions; on BBC One HD, BBC Sport Website and BBC iPlayer.
The Brazilian Grand Prix will be available for free live streaming online from the BBC Sport Website and TV on BBC One HD.
The Brazilian Grand Prix (Portuguese: Grande Prêmio do Brasil) is a Formula One championship race which occurs at the Autódromo José Carlos Pace in Interlagos, a district in the city of São Paulo, Brazil. In March 2008, the mayor of São Paulo announced that he had signed a new deal with Bernie Ecclestone to continue the holding of the Brazilian Grand Prix. This deal allows the Brazilian race to be on the calendar until 2015. With this, Interlagos is set for major improvements in its pit and paddock facilities.
