UKPROXY SERVER REFUND AND CANCELLATION POLICY
User Cancellation
UK Proxy Server (Scothosts Ltd) will gladly stop monthly or yearly automatic billing on any user account for the subscribed service. If you subscribe to a monthly service and request the service to be cancelled, the reoccurring billing on your account will be terminated on the date of your notification. Your service will still be active until the renewal date; at which time your access to the product will be stopped.
To cancel your subscription, simply login to your account via the customer area (new window) and create a ticket for the billing department.
UK Proxy Server (Scothosts Ltd) will promptly refund any charges made, if your request was placed before your reoccurring billing date and your subscription was still charged.
Third Party Blockage(s)
Please be advised it is not and shall not be deemed the responsibility of UK Proxy Server to ensure ongoing permanent compatibility of the IP addresses we supply with third party websites you may use, this is clearly outside our direct control. Whilst every effort to restore full operation is made by us in working alongside third party website providers, if you or others have caused the blockage in error. However if the blockage has been caused by a breach of the third party website(s) terms and conditions then our ability to restore full access may be limited or in extreme cases even impossible.
In such instances whilst you retain the right to cancel your subscription you will not be entitled to any form of refund.
Surcharge Applicable Refunds
Surcharges are rare and avoided whenever possible. However due to costs implied by UK Proxy Server they are applicable in the following scenarios:
Multiple Products – Our products are sold on a reoccurring basis and you may cancel at anytime within the duration of your subscription, this is clearly displayed on all our product specific pages. If you overlook or forget the fact that your product is reoccurring and mistakenly purchase a new subscription (i.e. a second subscription), then whilst we are happy to cancel and refund one of the subscriptions then it will be subject to a £5.00 surcharge.
Reoccurring Oversight – Our products are sold on a reoccurring basis and you may cancel at anytime within the duration of your subscription, this is clearly displayed on all our product specific pages. If you overlook or forget the fact that your product is reoccurring and then request a refund for any extended period as a result of the fact you did not know you were purchasing a reoccurring product then we are unable to issue any form of refund.
Technical Problems – Generally we can assist users with any support issues via our Help Desk ticketing system. Once you have made a purchase then you are obliged to assist our help desk staff in order to resolve your problem, if you request a refund on technical grounds and refuse the assistance from our staff then your refund will be processed subject to a £15.00 surcharge.
Company Cancellation
UK Proxy Server (Scothosts Ltd) has the right to stop access to our services and/or cancel user accounts based upon any breach of our Terms and Conditions . In such instances we will detail specific breaches and conclusions to users in writing via email and monies paid to date will be non-refundable. In all cases of UK Proxy Server (Scothosts Ltd) cancelling access to services or user accounts we will ensure any reoccurring billing is stopped to coincide with the cancellation.
